Luke and I have just returned from a quick trip to Japan so our apologies for the delayed May newsletter.
If you're thinking a trip to Japan has nothing to do with fishing, you couldn't
be more wrong - we ate FISH, we saw FISH (Tsukiji Fish Markets) and we went FISHing. Full report on the web soon.
Thank you for patience for orders delayed while we were away!
Back home, the weather has bristened and so we're happy to announce some winter specials starting this month.
This week also brings the much anticipated Sanctuary Cove Boat Show and so if you are coming up/down for that
and are after some gear, give us a bell. Just like last year, we're happy to make special deliveries to hotels
from our Gold Coast warehouse.
Fishing News?
With the ongoing bad weather meaning fishing days are still few and far between. The Blues are hanging around however with a number caught
in tournaments in the last month. Meanwhile, up north all is boding well for a good light tackle season with the Small Blacks already showing up at Cape Bowling Green and Cairns.
But if offshore the weather isn't all that great, just go Barra fishing like Luke did. Checkout this 130cm monster from the Gulf in early May.

Customer Profile - Pete Berlinski
Fishing is endlessly splashing in Pete's thoughts - especially luring the wily bream with artificial.

and paddling around in his Malibu Mini-X kayak, ultra light gear being his weapon of choice.
Pete has travelled in WA from Esperance in the south to Gladstone in the north
